OOTN- AN ALMOST FANCY MEAL

So, we rarely ever go anywhere fancy or ‘posh’ as a family, but last week we had an event/meal to go to which was slightly formal but not to the extent of having to wear a dress.

Jeans were an easy option/the comfiest option. These jeans are from Topshop and are by far the best jeans I have ever worn, allowing me to overlook the extremely overpriced nature of them.

The top is from SheInside, I wear it all the time because it can be made to look extremely casual but also relatively formal. The black and white add interest to the outfit whilst keeping the colour variation truly limited(just the way I like it)

The heels are from New Look, really easy to walk in and after wearing them for a good amount of hours my feet did not ache the day after(which is always a bonus!)

The clutch is from a vintage shop and has a very, very old label of John Lewis in it, so unfortunately it is now unavailable. The main reason why I chose it is because it is nude, very simple in appearance allowing my jewellery to stand out.
Rings: Primark
Necklace: River Island(I think)

Casual and Comfy

This outfit is definetely my ‘go to outfit’ on days that I either can’t think of what to wear or just need to leave quickly.

It is a very colourful outfit(for my monochrome obsession) and even though it has nothing special within it, it makes me feel well put together, as if I had thought about it.
The bag from Primark is my new favourite, it goes perfectly with the shoes because it adds to the ‘sporty’ and casual image and honestly, it requires no true effort when carrying it.

It is sooo comfortable, mainly due to the extremely soft and stretchy leggings from Topshop, but also because of my New Balance trainers and top which is also from Topshop.

15th June 2014

OOTD:
A simple outfit that I wear all the time, especially when the its warm outside and I want something casual, extremely comfortable but still interesting.
Nail design was inspired by LaurenElizabeth on instagram, used OPI nail varnish but sadly it doesn't seem to have a name on it, maybe because it came in a set of 5 mini nail varnishes and i have thrown away the box it came in.
'Gold' rings are from Primark
I look so happy in the background!!;)
I basically live in these shoes, my chunky boots from River Island. They give you hight without making it obvious that you have a bit of a heel on and can be dressed up(with a nice dress) or down(with jeans or shorts).
My anklet, which you can't see extremely well was bought by my mum in her 20's!
This bag is from Primark, i love the fact that it is such good quality and the zip really adds detail to the all black colour scheme.
The skirt i purchased a couple of years ago from New Look and the top is from Primark(neither are available but you can find similar ones very easily)
